As they entered adolescence, many of the kid's problems could be traced back to that moment, when the muffled calmness of a snowy winter night was broken by the sound of daddy beating Barfy with a shovel.

And Original Dad is REALLY enjoying that beatdown. He's got that "just got a beejer" grin on his face. In other news, by the end of his first week making the cartoon, Keane had already run completely out of ideas and decided to just draw a rudimentary winter scene, with a lamely heartwarming "we sent the dog out to daddy with a thermos" passing as the "joke".
